My favorite escape: Varivana Resort , Koh Phangan

Usually when I’m looking for a new hotel in a new place, I do a thorough internet search. One of the criteria I use to find the right hotel is the hotel’s design. One of the more interesting hotel names that came up while searching was the Varivana Resort in Koh Phangan. Since they had not officially opened yet I was a little worried and didn’t know what to expect. However, the second I was picked up from the pier by Raju, one of the Varivana Resort Team, I knew immediately that the service would be among the best available.
Location :
The location is very convenient, not far from the market and the beaches.
Design at Varivana Resort, Koh Phangan :
The resort boasts a stunning contemporary look that mixes wood colors with Concorde.
Room :
There are three different room sizes. I stayed in the Sky Suite Panoramic Ocean View, from which I woke up every morning to the gentle light of a beautiful sunrise. The room comes with a private balcony surrounded by highly panoramic mountain and ocean views, along with a luxuriously comfortable bed.

There is a world-class rooftop infinity pool, with an emphasis on sleek design.
Food :
The food was delicious and well done indeed. Moreover, I found myself trying a number of new dishes. Authentic Thai dishes for an overall great variety of choices.
Spa :
The spa is specifically designed to impart a feeling of relaxation from the moment you step in. You can choose the time of the treatment along with your favorite oils to soothe the senses.

The staff is very friendly and provides excellent service.
