Cobalt pendant lights dangle over the reception desk, and there is much modern art and sculptures tied to the mining theme. After checking in, a gold buggy transport system relays the essence of luxury service as we head off to our room. It’s truly a unique experience with incredible customer service.
During the ride to my room, all the bars and restaurants were revealed to me. While this is the perfect excursion for a pampered family experience, there are pools and experiences designed for adults only too. With 32 years in the industry, chef Piak leads the kitchen with a fusion of Thai flavors while appealing to locals and visitors craving an out-of-the-ordinary experience. Guests can also have an intimate Japanese inspired night at Rivet, with options like fresh sashimi and Wagyu beef. This restaurant is made out of vintage horse carriages for a symbolic experience.
