Avani+ Samui Resort
Are you looking for a small boutique hotel away from the usual tourist trail? Then, the Avani+ Samui resort is the right place!
The villa at Avani+ Samui Resort:
At the Avani+ Samui resort, I resided in the pool villa which was modern, chic, and comfortable. A large central bedroom with an enclosed patio entrance. A king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, Nespresso coffee machine, and even a hidden fridge. The air conditioning is excellent and proved quite capable of offsetting the mid-30s heat outside. A large ensuite with a separate toilet, shower (with cute rain forest head) and makeup area provides ample room, while two wardrobes with bottom drawers provide plenty of storage. Meanwhile, the outside sundeck with a sunbed and 1.2m deep pool was used several times daily and is a great way to start the day!. We could dry the clothes easily outside. The villa staff provided expert cleaning services while I was away at breakfast and get top marks for keeping the room pristine.
The resort is reasonably remote, therefore no traffic noise and feels quite private. Security guards are on duty 24/7, which affords plenty of safety. Popsicle and a cool towel were given to freshen up at my arrival. The lobby is a beautiful open space. Boasted with a mini-photo booth where they printed out all my tagged Instagram posts, which was awesome!
Food :
The restaurant opens for breakfast at 7 am and has an a la carte ordering system, with speedy service and above-average good quality. I dined at the restaurant for evening meals on seven of my twelve nights there and found the food consistently savory. Until 9:30 pm food orders are taken. The pantry offers support until morning.
The resort is Eco-friendly with a focus on recycling and producing minimum waste, so there were no buffets, plastic bottles, or plastic bags. The pool was immaculately clean, and I ended up spending a lot of time poolside. Furthermore, a little van which is converted into a poolside bar, where you can order cocktails and snacks. There are a poolside ablution and separate shower area with a foot-washing point as you leave the beach. Water sports equipment is available for stand up paddle-boarding, while jet skis can also be hired; Additionally, boat trips can be booked at a convenient spot immediately in front of the beach.
Services at Avani+ Samui Resort:
The team here was super-helpful, which made a huge difference. They do a wonderful job of relaxing their guests by quickly attending to every conceivable need. One thing I must mention which caught my full attention is the resort manager, Cindy. She was always helpful, extremely kind, and provided great support to every single guest in the resort, which is a level of personal care I don’t often come across in hotel stays.

@avani_hotels is a great spot on Koh Samui to relax and enjoy some time away from busy crowds!
