The Museum of Ice Cream, SF, is the place where ideas are transformed into real life experiences… Above all, A place where every and each room has a story to tell you. A place where every and each room has a unique experience.
The Museum of Ice Cream Backstory
The Museum of Ice Cream: started in Manhattan, New York City, is an interactive art exhibit with ice cream and candy themed exhibits, all brightly colored, in a maze of rooms containing “among other things, a rock-candy cave, a unicorn, and a swimming pool of rainbow sprinkles”.
The exhibition was co-founded by Maryellis Bunn, from Laguna Beach, and Manish Vora, previously of equity research firm Monness, Crespi & Hardt. Maryellis Bunn was looking for a way to connect with millennial audiences. She said “It’s all about fun, and feeling like a kid again. Everyone loves ice cream. It’s a way to bring people together.
My Experience at The Museum of Ice Cream.
We had to buy Tickets online in advance for specific time slots only. The exhibits, for the most part, are very often the backdrop for selfies, and the many selfies posted to Instagram, Flickr, Facebook, and other social media sites have served to promote the exhibit. I am guilty of contributing to the frenzy too. I was offered numerous tastings and treats throughout and it felt like I was being pampered. This was such a sugar rush and I loved it.
